La Gerla Brunello Winemaker Dinner

Toast to Autumn at our first winemaker dinner of the season!
Reserve a spot for this fall feast featuring wines from Tuscan producer La Gerla.
During this dinner, you will not only get to enjoy dishes off of our new menu, you will get to explore La Gerla wines through their vintages and meet La Gerla Head of Estate Alberto Passeri.

Fattoria La Gerla, named after large, old-fashioned, cone shaped baskets that grape-harvesters used to carry on their backs, was founded in 1978 by the late Sergio Rossi.
Originally from Milan, Sergio purchased the property in 1976. The purchase included an ancient farmhouse and 6.5 ha of vineyards, the very vineyards where Brunello was first produced.

Mr. Rossi, who by then had been managing the Altesino-Caparzo estate for several years, renamed the property La Gerla, and set about restoring the estate and replanting the vines.

La Gerla's top wine is the single vineyard cru gli Angeli, which is a Brunello Riserva only made in select years and yes, you will get to enjoy it!
